We recently came across a blog about preparedness. She found some chicken on sale today, and canned it (for the first time!). We're trying to get the recipe from her.... we'll post an update when we can.
Meanwhile, she had a good point. When you find a great deal on food (canned or fresh), get out your dehydrator, sealing machine or canning equipment.
